Have just had 2 driveways completed by Premier Driveways and have nothing but praise for them. Their work was excellent and of a very high standard. I would recommend them to anyone. I would rate them 5 stars

NIGHTMARE! Found these 'Driveway Specialist's' through Marshals and wish I had never bothered. Firstly they did not rate Marshals products and fobbed me off with another brand from a depot in Ringmer and when it came to doing the job, it was like watching the Keystone Cops at work! No planning, no thought and all the boss was interested in was shaking me down for a Part Payment every few days - in fact I had to pay his suppliers up front to get the job completed. Two days in and a demand for a grand was made, they then failed to turn up the following day and then just turned up the following Monday as if nothing had happened (?) got back to wrecking the place and then two days later asked for another GRAND! (wages???) and then whilst at it mentioned the supplier problem, blamed everyone else and told me if I wanted the job to continue (the ground work was in full swing and the place was a complete mess) I'd have to pay his supplier to get the materials to carry on the job!!! At every turn the boss Ted was trying to cut corners and before the job was completed asked for final payment and he and his crew vanished - leaving the job looking like a bunch of teenagers had done the work, half the brick work missing and out of line/level and the blocks laid up & down all over the place!!! - Nightmare and then if that was not bad enough, the boss then claims 'extras' where used (this despite the job not being completed???) and then demands even more money to cover these 'extra's' which he will not even tell me where for? I now have a badly laid driveway, with NO DRAINAGE channels (he removed the ones that where there!!!) that now allows ALL the recent rain water to run towards the house (god know what that will do now!) possibly damaging the foundations plus leaving pools of standing water as they did such a poor job of the ground work!!! One of his tricks is to phone you, ranting and raving - demanding extra money and when you try to reason with him, you get more of a mouth full - and now THREATS to take the matter further involving a 'visit' from 'people who will make me pay up' ..........? Use this company by all means - but get everything IN WRITING - especially any alterations he or you might make and make part of the T&C's that YOU WILL NOT PAY a penny until the job is completed to YOUR satisfaction! In my case - he's now getting to know my solicitor quite well!!!
