Story

Wakefield's Prego Pizzeria offers traditional Italian dining, cooked from old recipes in an oven imported from Tuscany. We use fresh ingredients, where possible, for dishes including appetisers, pasta, pizza and seafood, and stock a cellar of classic wines to accompany them. The interior is fundamentally modern in style, with some homely Italian decor to maintain the Southern European feel.

Always one of my favourite restaurants when I come back to Wakefield. The Pizza Vesuvius calzone is cooked to perfection in the wood fired oven and the napolitana sauce with some chilli's has just the right amount of taste.
This is the best pizza I ever had. Five stars.
