The crisp air is invigorating as each swing connects with the ball. A sense of calm washes over me with every drive. For a brief time, the outside world fades away, replaced by the simple pleasure of the game. Each shot is a chance to improve, to refine my technique. It's an hour well-spent, recharging both body and mind.
The venue is nice and clean. The actual golf is terrible. Most of the equipment doesn't work, the tracer is so inaccurate and that's only when it registers regardless of what bay you are on. The only range that actually stresses me out more than when I turned up.
Been coming here every week for the past 2 months for driving range and putting green.nnGot to say its my favourite location for golf activities as the driving range has good tech top tracer and auto tees, very very competitive prices at £8.50 for a session and the staff have always been great to me.nnThe putting green is really good, lots of variety with gradients and a dedicated pitching area.nnThere's also a small pro shop and other facilities for food and drink too.nnIf you're local to the area you'll be hard pressed to find a better facility.nnFor context I've tried a fair few driving ranges around the Manchester area but this is still my favourite.nnSome more info too, if you're hiring golf clubs you'll usually get quite a decent driver, I've been fortunate enough to get a taylormade driver on hire which was a nice treat but obviously its down to what they have available at the time. Club hires are £5 which is insanely cheap compared to other facilities that charge £15.
Good choice of activities from driving range to 3G pitches to crazy golf. Highly recommend the driving range and trying Top Tracer. Friendly staff.
I booked the Windermere room for a big birthday party. Chloe and her staff were brilliant - they couldnt do enough for us. The food was excellent - something for everyone and they catered for individual dietary needs. Easy parking. Recommended.
