Went in for England semi final game. Asked if the was any tables Free as I had not booked. No tables were available but the staff member asked me to wait and came along with a table and chair and squeezed a space for us. Absolutely brilliant. It’s was a great game, great service but I have say a big Thankyou for being so helpful and accommodating.
The function room at the back of the pub is very good for parties. Not too big... a long oblong room. Decorated nicely is great for family gatherings.. Birthdays etc. It looked lovely for the retirement party I was at. Staff were helpful... served with a smile. A small dance floor. Music played in back ground. Tables and chairs beautifully covered. It was an excellent night. Very cosy and able to talk and chat with everyone.. The buffet was gorgeous.... so fresh and plenty to choose from. From cold to a curry and rice. Chips potatoes veg meat in gravy. Wow. As for a cake it was laid in a design as cup cakes individually for everyone to help ourselves. Nicest cup cake I have had. The icing design was very pretty. Tasted delicious. So I would recommend here. Very impressed.
Held a family function at the weekend. Staff could not of been more helpful and welcoming. Using in house catering made it much easier and food was lovely and fresh. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for a room to hold a small party/gathering. Room was decorated with table clothes and chair coverings.

We had Sunday lunch and it was delicious - could it fault it. Lovely meat, veg and Yorkshires with extra gravy without even asking. We had desert too and that was also top notch. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend
