Went to look for garden stuff, but non in yet. Will go back in a week or so and look again. Not a very impressive shop, as many products unrecognisable, not my sort of shop really. This is the sort of yukky stuff I refer to. Sounds disgusting, just reading the label. I would prefer if Lidl took it over, it would be a much better place to shop. Has anyone else got this opinion?
Scruffy, both the store & the staff. Everything said 50% off but was still expensive compared to say home bargains ..... I just didn't get it, looked like its closing down but staff restocking with new seasonal stuff. I'd gone in for a particular air freshener otherwise I wouldn't go in there.
Some good bargains. Wanted some bed socks and found some very cheap.
Very useful and has everything you need.
Big shop. Bought a variety of stuff from food to batteries and Christmas lights. Wide aisles, good prices, easy parking. What more could you want?
Expectations = small store with miserable "don't want to be there" staff. Reality = very decent sized store with actually quite cheerful and engaging staff. Ok so some of the products are not the best quality but there is some decent stuff in and it ain't badly priced.
Poundstretcher is such an amazing place to shop in just fantastic.
Not usually a place we shop. Excellent value. Definitely worth a visit. It certainly does make your pounds go further. Very helpful if not particularly knowledgeable personnel.
I've always liked poundstretcher and recently it's improved with stock, COVID didn't help the place even though they flew through it. A very good shopping store.
As I walked into the store there was guy screaming at people coming into the store without a mask and that you’ll be fined £500 without one on and that it is the law. 1, It’s NOT the law, it’s a mandate which is governed by consent and in turn informed consent only. 2, To insist that I disclose why is a breach of the Equity Act 2010. 3, To deny entry and/or service is a breach of the section 13 1 of the equality act 2010. Tread carefully and read up on the law is my advice.
