The manager Sajid Waqas is very rude, unprofessional and only cares about hiring employees who aren't in education and who admit to stay long term without quitting. Imagine being a manager of Poundland, how sad. You'll also find his review of the store and other reviews he's written on his profile which have terrible spelling and grammar. I wonder how he became a manager...
Can get good bargains, but most items are cheaper elsewhere now so pay attention when you shop.
Love to see finally poundland back to it's value promotion.......

Cheap stuff available here and most of the times it is of very good quality. Variety is not their strength but most of the house hold, daily use items are available here. Top notch store.
Name implies things are cheaper than they actually are. Seen sweets cheaper in tesco and cleaning products cheaper in wilkos so not really good value anymore
Staff are always so helpful to me whenever I go there.I am disabled, so that is really appreciated. I wish all shops were as helpful to me. 10/10 for the staff in there. Thankyou very much.
Things are as durable and effective as other stores but at a fraction of the price. Especially their household cleaning products, amazing. Even known brands are sold significantly cheaper than other stores. Tbh I've had worse service from staff in other notable High Street stores than in poundland here. I'm no oil painting and I find that they don't judge who you are, if you're in their premises intending to buy something then you're their customer.
It's good for a day out with the family these days, always good to have a look at the wildlife in there, you may be lucky enough to see some trolls and even a few gargoyles, but make sure you take a towel because the place is slippery when wet
