Weird customer service - Staff completely blanked myself and my friend, instead serving the guys that came to the till after us. They only acknowledged us once the store was empty, despite us being stood right in front of the till! Will stick to Greggs.
Their meat and potato pies are nice, even if they do lack the meat. Glad they use short crust pastry for them instead of puff pastry as puff pastry gives me heartburn. Their pizza slices remind me a lot of the pizza slices we got back in secondary school i.e mostly dough and not much cheese or flavour. Can't really complain for a quid though. Fills a gap.
I can't really give this place more than a 4 star, as I don't visit this place all that often, so I can't actually say much about it. What I can say about it, though, is that the prices are very reasonable, the food is lovely and I can certainly recommend it to other people, based on my personal experiences!
Went for a double sausage muffin, meat was hard, cheese was liquid. Absolutely vile. Obviously a day or two old.

My go to bakery to grab a quick bite. Super cheap yet tasty pizzas and sandwiches.
The food here is certainly nothing worth writing home about, but you can fill your belly for very little cash. The breakfasts are mediocre, the meagrely-filled pasties can charitably be described as "edible", and the sweet treats are bland and unappetising. But they do certainly fill you up, and they're cheap.
Can't argue for the price I don't expect high quality or above and beyond service but a few occasions I have been in to staff arguing the worst time I saw who iam guessing was the manager or senior staff Adult slapping a boy who works there for not saying please..... that's assault if I did that at work i would probably be fired... Guess she was putting the "pound" into pound bakery... not a nice thing for paying customers to see or employees to put up with luckily Greggs is across the street it's a bit less violent in there no shouting and no slapping
