Don't be a snob. Ridiculous value, excellent, full to bursting Cornish pasties. Mince pies, which are ironically more expensive than supermarket but still only £1, are the best in town.

once again i have been dissapointed @ the pound bakery mostyn street when calling with an order of 6 potatoe pies although calling at lunch time 3/5/17 was again told no pies yet when staff asked what time i should call back ...?..on both occasions the best answer you get is sometime today??? not good enough it is a shame that such a brilliant food outlets as yours should be let down by staff/delivery organisers. i would prefer a more definitive answer next time [no the 6 pies where not all for me even though they are the best i ever tasted at any price ] brickhammerman

What can I say, it's a Pound Bakery and doesn't need or try to be anything other than that. You can't fail to get your moneys worth from here and despite being a cheap Sayers shop there is plenty to have. Only one item I wouldn't try again and that's the cheeseburger pasty, it wasn't terrible but just too strange for my liking. Cheap and cheerful........
