My wife & I spent an absolutely fabulous afternoon today late March exploring the Parkland & Gardends at Poulton Hall as part of their charity open day offerings. You're in for a real treat if you like sculptured tree trunks, unique garden figurines and unusual ornaments which, in spring and summer, will be nestled within a lovely floral garden setting.
Lovely walled gardens with a literary theme. Borders are laid out in great colours and the staff were all really helpful and friendly.

I visited for a second year. The gardens were well layed out and quirky as ever and it was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. We again opted for the afternoon tea this year but found it a little disappointing. Just two small sandwiches, two miniature half scones with cream and jam and a cold cup of coffee. If I attend next year I will definitely give this a miss.
This is a lovely place to visit on their open days. There are a variety of gardens to look at & places to sit to enjoy the atmosphere. There is often a plant stall & a storyteller to delight all ages.

Excellent venue, gardens lovely, the toilet facilities aren't great. The staff very obliging. Would recommend.
