Great selection of well conditioned real ales for takeaway. Good service, very friendly.

Wonderfully cosy little micropub. Superb beers and great atmosphere. Live music every Wednesday and other adhoc times. Camra discounts too :

I couldn't resist a pint of "the Devil made me brew it" and it was a phenomenal coffee stout. The St Augustine's Cross or possibly slightly miffed was good, too

Terrific little bar. A wonderful atmosphere and a good variety of well kept beer.

Good little drinking pub got some good real ale on as well good frindly staff

we went for our first time, last week,  as part of the Oxjam music event. The live music was excellent, and people were friendly. we'll be happy to return.

Lovely little place. A gem in beeston serving real ales and very cheap too! Lovely atmosphere

Compact micropub with decent range of cask ale.

Nice selection of real ales, Some ciders and wines also a couple of non alcoholic beers. Nice and polite staff and clean and tidy inside. Only criticism is that it did smell abit fusty and the ceiling could do with a tidy up with paint or new ceiling tiles.

Struggled for an ale I liked but obviously this changes daily. Will always come back.
