good food nice sitting spaces a view and people who did listen and staff who were doing their best. a good hospital and a happy place to be and for what it was they did as well as they could they listened and they had a good record of looking after the person in my family and it was a good interaction and a well given service where they did try to do their best. thanks for trying it was a good service and as it should be for what the service is.
Very rude manager on oakmere north rude to patients relatives and staff whilst I was there. Don’t know how she ever became a nurse because she has no nursing skills. Hope she has more sympathy when hee family get old and sick
sat in the waiting room todayvalentines day waiting for my wife and an elderly man and woman were sitting looking confused, the time was 11am and they had an eye screening appointment for 10am,there are two waiting rooms right beside each other, this was the couple's first time attending this hospital as i later found out, a nurse passed whom was helpful, they showed her their letter and how long they had been waiting, the nurse went off and spoke to the receptionist, the receptionist then came down to where the couple were sitting and literally tore into the elderly man,i told you 1st waiting room in a raised voice and pointing her finger in the mans face, i was livid and was just going to say something then i felt my wife squeeze my arm,so i kept quiet the receptionist is so so rude shoulder lengthg black hair ,glasses about 5ft tall, am totally disgusted what i saw, respect is a two way thing,if you spoke to an NHS worker the way this receptionist spoke to this elderly man you would have been thrown out, go and get yourself some training in being considerate to peoples needs rather than getting in their face.what a world we live in,felt so strong about this had to write a review
Dear Potters Bar Community Hospital,nnI would like to thank each and every one of your staff members, for their kind treatment throughout my time at the hospital.nnI have spent several months now living in the hospital, and I have to say, the patience, kindness and positivity of each staff member has not gone unnoticed.nnI have been admitted to a few hospitals in my time, and this hospital is by far the best I have been to. The level of care is far superior to other hospitals.nnI may not have always been the easiest person to care for, being in hospital and not being able to walk for weeks was very testing for me. However, the staff always stayed positive, calm, reassuring and patient with me. They stayed patient with me as I struggled to eat, walk and even talk at times. This has all massively helped with my recovery.nnTherefore, I would like to say a massive thank you to you all. I am so impressed at how the staff stay so positive during their long shifts, when they are short staffed and have many other patients to care for.nnThank you and I’m sure anyone else in your care will feel exactly the same as I did.nnKind Regards,nMalcolm Ruben
Don't bother phoning, whichever option you choose it goes round and round different extensions, never answered. Take option for the operator it rings a few times and they just cut you off - I tried 7 times. Community hospital that has no customer service clearly.
