The food and service at Potli were outstanding. After each meal our table was cleared, the staff were incredibly attentive and the food was sensational. Would throughly recommend.
Varied dishes from different parts of India. Great tasting food, quite hot but we like that. Friendly service. We had the family set menu and were very pleased with the variety on offer, and every dish was perfectly cooked and distinct in taste.
Amazing experience.Great service and attitude of the two Indian guys that took care of us. Lamb, rice, potatoes, and the naan-> omg good
Really enjoyed this place. Starters were great, the spicy tofu was some of the only tofu I have enjoyed. The Samosa Chaat was also spot on. Buttered Chicken was nice, slightly on the spicy side but even my delicate tastebuds were alright with it.
This is the first time we’ve ordered from this place and we were thinking that we won’t order again as one curry arrived with a green/expired looking top. However, the restaurant has gone above and beyond to find me after leaving a review and explain that this was an unfortunate incident; the chef added a garnish on top of the dish to make it even more delicious and the garnish melted in transit, giving the dish an unfortunate look! I do believe this as their biryani did taste heavenly and we will be visiting the restaurant in person soon. Amazing service, definitely 5/5!
One of the best Indian restaurants you would find in West London. The mutton railway curry is an absolute delicacy. The owner, Uttam and the entire staff was very friendly and warm. Highly recommended!
Had another epic meal at Potli, first time back since COVID and was so happy to find this place is still as good as always. Lamb coconut fry and Chooza Kas Mkani, plus nann and beers, all exceptional. Even the dips with the popadums are top quality, and a really nice welcome and start to the meal. Service very friendly and attentive. Given all of this I also think it's brilliant value for money. Can't wait to visit again, an easy 5*, for me my favourite Indian restaurant & take away and would recommend. Also a great restaurant to take friends and wow them. Thank you Potli team!
I am very happy with the lunch service. Great restaurant, good service and great food. The house special of Lamb Coconut Fry is very tasty and the portion is generous. The starter Andhra Chilli Chicken dish is wonderful too. I still feel full by dinner time. That is a good sign that the restaurant served a good meal. Next time I would like to try their fish dish. Definitely a good place to go if you want a great lunch with good service.
Authentic Indian restaurant par-excellence in heart of london. Indian food is more than just Punjabi or South Indian food or the nouveau fusion cuisine that the like of Dishoom, Kricket etc are championing. No other restaurant is a better celebration of the alternate Indian cuisines like Bengali, Odiya than Potli. The Prawn Nariyel, Railway mutton is to die for. Staff are very attentive and the owner is very warm and personally checks with each guests on each table. Brilliant vibes and a must try Indian restaurant.
We really enjoyed the food and the service. Mr Uttam who is the owner really tries his best to recreate authentic Indian dishes and the authentic experience of genuinely caring and nice Indian hospitality & he has done a great job! The chilli paneer, dal makhani and panner masala were really good. The hospitality is really commendable . Such few restaurant owners take the time out to come speak to the guests, so it really feels nice when someone makes the effort. Thank you, and looking forward to dine again here!
