Story

"Very, very special tea"
Nigel Slater, Food writer and broadcaster

"Yesterday I drank the most delicious cup of tea I've ever tasted. Given that I've experimented over the years with many varieties to appease an eight-cup-a-day habit you can understand that this was a particularly magical moment for me. The tea in question was Master Xu's Rou Gui, a light Wuyi rock oolong with a delicate, floral fragrance, and I sipped it at Timothy d'Offay's charming shop, Postcard Teas, where hundreds of teas can be tried before buying".
Nicole Swengley The FT's How to Spend It

"The best tea in London"
Lucille Lewin The Telegraph

"Why don't you make time for tea. Become a green tea enthusiast at Postcard Teas, where many varieties can be traced to small, family-owned tea gardens".
Bianca Jagger Harper's Bazaar

"Postcard Teas boasts an amazing list of teas, some of which you may never have heard of and some you know well. The website tells you more about tea than you ever knew and best of all sends you on an exploratory tour of its tea estates".
Lucia van der Post The Times

"There are many tea aficionados out there, but Tim d'Offay's passion for the perfect brew - responsibly sourced and lovingly blended - sets him apart. An innovator in his field, he sells green, black, and oolongs".

Lovely little tea shop. Found on Google, bought some cute packs for myself. The packaging is really cute so I bought it without thinking twice it’s not just a hype though, the tea itself also taste really good. A good place to go if you want to buy teas in niche little shops as souvenirs or gift for yourself, definitely recommend!
Excellent service. The store was not opening when we arrived as we didn’t checked the opening hours. However, the staff opens 30 mins earlier for us to check out the tea. He took time to explain different tea and made a few recommendation. Good varieties of tea available and store is very organized. I would highly recommend if you are around the neighbourhood.
Postcard Teas has been my go-to Tea House for 15+ years. Incredible selection of high quality teas, all checked and sourced by Tim the owner. Wonderful selection of Tea candies, Tea Cups and high quality accessories. If you love Tea it's a must visit whether you live in London or just visiting. The building was originally a Tea House in the 1800's Highly recommended
My son has newly discovered high end tea, so we paid a visit. What a beautiful store! We didn't know what to get, but the staff were very helpful.
Very nice place to buy tea, quite hidden from the busy streets. The classics are there, as well as some specialty teas. Just ask the staff, who was very friendly and kind at the time of our visit. The packaging like a Postcard, and how they arranged them make it a joy to look around and discover the different kinds of teas they have to offer. And of course, the teas taste great. Also bought some for gifting.
The ambience of the store was nice. You can find peace upon entering. The manstaff was informative and he knows how to explain well and accommodate customers. The place was tidy and there were lots of tea choices in there. They also ship the teas if you are from another country.
Lovely shop with even better service. A must visit if you are a tea lover and perfect for gifts. How retail should be! The owner gave me a free sample
Postcard Teas is a hidden gem in the heart of London, they have a great selection of artisanal teas sourced directly from farms and a focus on quality and sustainability. The staff are all knowledgeable about the different types of teas as well.
