Had a parcel redirected here by postman, I've been trying for a week to get it, place is never opened, doesn't answer a telephone Absolutely poor service
Owner opens as closes whenever he wants makes collecting parcels difficult
Not open again! Facility for electricity top up apparently broke. And met with a shrug.
Not even worthy of 1 star, Brigadoon appears more often than this post office is open. Unreliable and not providing the service it should for the local community.
Number doesn’t work when trying to call and they are closed on days Google says they are open.
I see now it is closed all day on a Thursday. I am 66 years old now and don't remember the Post Office ever doing business in such a haphazard way. At least when they close up for the final time soon, we will all know where we stand. Poor Gourock seems to get the sharp end of the stick all the time. We will have NO Post Office then.
Unfortunately I couldn’t give zero stars. This is supposed to be a public service yet it appears to open whenever the owner feels like opening. People count on the Post Office for so many reasons and the majority are elderly and it can be a struggle for them to even get out the house, never mind having to repeat their journey because of poor management. In this sad time of isolation and only leaving your home for real necessities two or three trips is unacceptable. The Post Office should be looking for another outlet in Gourock.
Wish I could give NO stars. Opens as and when suits the owner. No way to run a business!!
