Easy to find on main high street, friendly staff but no free parking!
I have been posting my parcels here for the last three years and even though for two of those I was over 20 miles away, I came back every other week to post my parcels - I really wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are lovely, always have a smile on their faces and so welcoming - also very helpful with giving the best postage options and are fantastic at dealing with international deliveries. Wouldn't send my pictures or calendars with anyone else - keep up the great work!!!
We are so lucky to have a post office in town. They are often so busy there are queues out of the door. They are always friendly and patient and will do all they can to help. With no banks in fordingbridge left they are a godsend for paying in money, we would be extremely lost without them. Great job guys!!
Lovely little post office, great and friendly staff. Personally I think we are all lucky to still have a local post office open in such a small town.
Accompanied my friend to this PO today, early afternoon. My friend asked if it was possible to pay a bill using their service. The lady there wasted no time in showing derision at the question, raising her voice and asking 'why does everyone come in here asking that?!' A lively conversation ensued between her and her colleague about how it wasn't possible to pay this bill. Having got that over, I asked for a postal receipt for my parcel. Abruptly, I was told to put it on the scales and the same woman barked at me about what was in it and how I'd like it sent. I replied, 'it already has a prepaid label, thankyou'. Visibly annoyed, she snapped 'well you didn't tell me that did you?!' At this point I said I would take my parcel elsewhere. I did this because I honestly didn't trust that she would actually send the parcel and felt she was so aggressive she might 'lose' it on purpose just to be unkind. I was absolutely stunned by the level of hostility at this PO. A local man told me later that this woman is well known for her rudeness and is a joke in the area. I personally will never enter this shop again and will be raising an official complaint.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The PO is always well stocked- plenty of cards. They are dog friendly too which is fab and they always have dog biscuits at hand. Thoroughly recommend :
Always courteous and friendly and were extremely helpful when we had to renew our passports.
I was very surprised that the member of staff was complaining that my parcel was not welcome as they already had many parcels. I thought that was why they were there and to be polite to their customers especially as there is a notice saying that they do not allow abuse from the public!
Clueless when it comes to car logbooks and DVLA. Had my log book application returned after 8 weeks saying forms were missing, which the post office lady said I didn't need. One of the staff members is a bit abrupt, borderline rude, and there is no parking. I will make the trip to Salisbury in future.
A great little post office. Cards in there are great nina and her staff are always welcoming and friendly. Thank you.
