Started using Pocklington post office regularly recently and have always had helpful and friendly service from the staff. Bob went out of his way to answer my questions and help me understand how best to post my parcels in future, giving advice and suggestions which and encouraging me to feel welcome to ask the staff any time I have uncertainty about postage. Great customer service.

If you want to post something and be flogged new insurance or phone provider then this is the place for you. Otherwise Barmby Moor is far superior.

Always find all the Post Office staff to be wonderfully helpful, despite having fiddly parcels and wanting proof of posting. THANK YOU!

The manner in which Bob Baker spoke to me when I visited the Post Office today to ask a simple question with regards making a SORN was absolutely amazing. By that I mean he was completely unprofessional and disrespectful, he appeared to be clearly irritated by my enquiry and was basically very rude !! This was one of those occasions when I wished there had been a camera or method of recording such an episode So that he could use it at a latter date to provide an example of HOW NOT TO SERVE PEOPLE !!! The main crux of his gripe was that people should do more things at the Post Office rather than on line. My advice to you Bob Baker is DO NOT put yourself forward as the poster 'boy' for the Post Office or it certainly will become a thing of the past. My thanks to the other staff who appeared to be clearly embarrassed by his service sorry lack of

I don't like the atmosphere in the Pocklinton Post office and I was disgusted with the personal comment made, with nasty inuendos, about me and my American friends, by one of the post office staff. I am 70 yrs old and I have Parkinson's disease, I do love my American frieds as well as my other friends. Just because I have deveoped a way of putting Parkinson's Disease stories into book form for people and sharing them and putting their poetry into bookform and sharing it and sending a lot of parcels containing books to the USA does not give her the right to sneer at me and my American friends. I am proud of my accomplishments and the accomplishments of others with this challenging and debilitating disease
