Have been to this post office twice in as many months, first to be told at 5 minutes to 8pm that they are already closed, (opening times say to 8pm but fair enough) second time at 7.30pm to be told that the machine was turned off at 6 and if they turned if on again they will get shouted at.... if you want to use this post office call ahead as their opening times are not as advertised!

Apparently 8 o'clock closing time doesn't actually mean 8 o'clock! Stone useless

If you're trying to mail an xmas card, this place might be ok. Mailed a few items here so far and all international items were severely delayed or not tracked despite purchasing the option. National items faired better. The ladies taking your mail are very kind and polite, yet the items end up lost in transit somehow. After complaining about a parcel not being tracked after three working days i was told... to wait another 24h. I just mailed another order with this post (it's the only close one I have) and it seems it also is not tracked properly with Royal Mails webpage saying I never posted the item despite 36h+ passed. Overall, for local stuff = sure, seems safe enough , international or business related = drive to High Street to get peace of mind.
