If you have the option, go elsewhere—the staff would probably tell you the same.nnI have used this post office regularly and have consistently found the staff to be rude and dismissive, especially towards anyone who may not have the same in-depth knowledge of the postal system as they do. I always greet the staff with a polite “hello” or “thank you”, only to receive no response. They never apologise for keeping you waiting while they carry on with another task.nnAs noted in other reviews, my experience has also been that they try to avoid accepting prepaid parcels.
Love our Post office in Verwood. Had passport done, DVLA paperwork. Always use them to post my parcels / letters and so glad we have a post office here. The tenants/staff are very nice people and very helpful. Thank you.
Love how their faces squirm when you hand over a prepaid parcel, virtually throw you the proof of delivery back at you! Definitely not the happiest of post offices!
Very disappointing service, unhelpful and unfriendly, good example of why the UK post office looses millions a year and why all its competitors are taking over, add in the ridiculous overcharging for a stamp and it's late and useless delivery service. and what's left....!
I asked for a certificate of postage on an item that got weighed and was just a 2nd class value. Got told we don't provide this? I told them I regularly post elsewhere and gey a certificate of postage. They replied, just this one time! Wow, just provide the service you are meant to..
