The little man who works in the post office bit is just so obnoxious. It’s a real shame because everyone else who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. I really couldn’t believe it when I went in earlier, got a QR code wrong; I thought you could send an item back but it turned out not to be the case and he LAUGHED AT ME!!!!! Not in a friendly having a joke way, the little excuse for a man maliciously laughed at me because I didn’t know the specific way in which something worked. I’m literally flabbergasted. It was right in front of my daughter. Like I say, it’s such a shame as everyone else there is lovely and it’s nice to have a post office nearby. He just makes me so uncomfortable whenever I go in there, and has really outdone himself today.
Great little post office and a good off licence to order rare whiskey's and Rums .
Great Post Office and excellent shop. Really helpful staff and good opening hours.
Had rude staff in there previously. But I am now writing this review because of the mis information that has meant I had to take another journey to another post office. They told us that we couldn't do a postal order to pay the DVLA their fee, and it had to be cash. The DVLA DONT ACCEPT CASH. Its a cheque, postal order, or bankers draft. Useless clueless people, don't be in business if you don't know the business.
I got three family passports renewed here last month - I opted for the Post Office checking service, and I'm glad I did: the new passports came through in double-quick time, thanks to the excellent service here. I also use it regularly to post parcels - friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff make it an easy experience every time. We are really lucky to have this little post office!
The gent who served me was rude, seemed frustrated that I didn’t know the ins and outs of the postal service. The time I went in the previously the woman was shouting at kids. Strange to see such a sense of superiority from people who work at a post office. I’ve only used this one because it’s close to my work, will go to the one nearer my home next time.
Very rude staff always trying to upsell you something eg special delivery for a Christmas card when all I wanted was a 1st class stamp, they then try to sell me a book of 10, then a book of 6.....only wanted one stamp. Never returned since last rude episode and never will.
Great Post office and excellent alcohol choices. Man than anything I have seen in the area. Staff goes through the queue very quick and the lovely lady does a great job in there. Man in the shop knows his alcohol.
So glad i done a check and send for my daughters passport here! as i didnot fill form out properly and the gentlemen behind the counter was so helpful! very friendly staff and really child friendly ! gives lolly pops to the children! i am so glad they took over heathfield post office as it makes a trip there pleasurable! keep up the good work!
Took passport renewal form to this Post Office today to enquire who to write the cheque out to, as I wasn't sure. Was told couldn't give any advice as he didn't know, but could do Check and Send - how can he do C&s if he doesn't know how to pay? I didn't really want to do C&S but it seemed to be the easiest way. He took the form but didn't look at it properly, then told me I needed photos anyway, which you don't!! If you are renewing a passport and there are no changes to your appearance, you do not need new photos. This is clear in the pamphlet which comes with the application form. When I tried to explain he said that he's not paid to argue; if I put £10 on the counter, he would argue. How rude. He then came out from behind the counter, which was quite intimidating, and told me to go somewhere else. I won't be going in there again. He obviously doesn't know his job!
