An excellent local Post Office. The staff are always very friendly and helpful with time for everyone. If there are any queues these are caused by the customers and never the counter staff. There is normally two staff on at any one time and they deal with everyone with a friendly and professional manner. This branch is certainly a credit to The Post Office and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I ordered an item from be delivered. It states on my order you have delivered it. Oh no you haven't. Tried to call the Alfreton Post office. Hey presto No response. This was not Evri. As Evri are superior to other parcel companies. So do not tarnish them with the poor service. If you are going to respond. It was the post office app which was used to deliver my parcel. So they are directly responsible. How about you do your job post office and explain who you have given the job to. Also the picture where you did deliver to is not my doorstep. As I do not have brown tiles. Good grief. Sort this out.
The staff at Alfreton post office are excellent, nothing is too much trouble for them. Keep up the good work
No star If i was able to do it terrible staffs , if the post office’s owner seeing this you need to change these terrible people working in your office.I didn’t had these kind of behaviour from any other staffs. Worst post office visited in the UK. The staffs are rude and not helpful at all.
Don't waste your time going to Alfreton Post Office, having visited on a number of occasions I have rarely found the staff to be anything more than rude and unhelpful, incapable of following clearly printed information on official documents, and with no sense of speed or ability to keep queues down. On the other hand South Normanton Market Place Post Office is quite the opposite. If you can, give Alfreton a miss!
Very rude woman white hair/tattoos served myself and my wife, she messed up all the labels done via QR codes, we gave her a parcel at a time according to the postcode she read out. They were all labelled wrong so sent to the wrong addresses, this cost us a considerable amount of money When we went in to tell her she was rude and blamed us. What a horrible woman with a poor attitude. We did put in a formal complaint but again they weren't bothered and we couldn't put in a claim as she is not admitting fault.
I went into the post office just before christmas I went to where the cashier was and she was counting money not once did she look up i was buying a roll of selotape which was £1.49 i put the money down which again she didnt look up took the money then put the 1p change down I thanked her but nothing she just carried on counting the money . I said right thank you and left and theres one sure thing i wont ever be going back no she needs to be retrained on how to deal with customers. I should add the lady next to her waa friendly when she served a customer so glad to see theres at least one nice cashier working there
1 person serving, 9 in the Queue ! It's like being back in Barclays Bank.
Took some parcels in today and the lady behind the counter was very helpful and was able to keep conversation going while working. She was very polite and made a normal post office visit seem less dull, i will make sure to come back and hope to be served by the red headed lady again. I will also mention the gentleman behind the counter who also joined in on the conversation and went out of his way for good customer service. Thank you to these guys
