I agree with recent reviews that 2 stars is about the most this Post Office is worthy of. I arrived just after 9am this morning Saturday to find only one person behind the counter and a queue of people waiting. I finally got served about 9:20 by which time a second person had arrived with her mug of tea and started to get her position open. However she was still busy doing other things and still had not opened up by the time I left. And the queue had got longer and no interaction from her with anyone in the queue about what she was doing or when she would be ready to serve people. I've added a photo showing the times they deal with passports and some other documents like DVLA etc.
Dreadful customer service!! Absolutely appaling. A place of power, it seems, for people who have little manners or knowledge of much at all. Seems like the dreadful reviews have not promted any action. I was forced to deal with them because of a mistake with a parcel company else i would NEVER go there. Avoid if you can!
I had an awful experience today . I was in tear when after team up with each other , one of them called Rosi , stared at me in an aggressive and hostile way and accused me if being rude only because I tried to resolve the chaos that her older colleagues created and she followed her. These two don't know the first thing about customer service . Awful awful people and service . I hope their manager see this message and does something about it. I've never been mistreated like today .
Awful experience, tried to get in branch verification of my DBS form, took all my ID as requested and then the lady said my driving license was no good for ID as it didn’t have my middle name! Even though it had my photo and address on it, I said the post office did it last time, she said they have really tightened up on things! I got home and looked it up, turns out you don’t have your middle name on your license! What a complete waste of time! Avoid this so called Post office Absolutely ridiculous and don’t have a clue what they are talking about!
Unsatisfactory customer service! They seem to shut down on their own convenience. On December 6th, 2023, I made an effort to get there before closing and joined the queue at 17:58. An impolite lady approached and informed me I could queue up but warned that despite their advertised closing time of 18:00, I wouldn't be assisted. It's disheartening that those who lack commitment are operating such a crucial service.
I am deeply disappointed with the Post Office's service regarding a lost parcel. Not only did the staff fail to assist, but they were also rude and unhelpful. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable
I'd forgive the terrible customer service, queues and mess if the staff didn't make so many mistakes. I.e. They told the lady infront of me that you couldn't send cigarettes by royal mail as they were flammable.
Shocking customer service. They allow people to push in without challenge and then serve them without question. No one makes eye contact or offers even the bare minimum of polite customer service and the manager leads by a very bad example. I would give zero stars if it were an option. The Post Office and/or McColls clearly don’t care as it has been this way for many many years. If you have even the smallest opportunity to go somewhere else take it.
Had a parcel to return to Amazon and a QR code for it on my phone. Stood in line for 15 minutes while one, sometimes two, counter staff dealt with the queue. At the window, she barely glanced at my QR code, insisting Royal Mail couldn’t take it and I should use Evri, available at another shop 500 metres away. That shop couldn’t accept the code, assuring me the PO should. Back at the PO, another 20 minutes in the queue, different counter staff accepted the parcel without hesitation and despatched it. Utter waste of time, a combination of understaffing and apparently ignorant staff.
Terrible place, please avoid this branch of brainless buffoons. Ive come for Sia license 8 times and each time something new I need to bring, im begining to think they are either dumb or racist. On the 8th time i came the woman laugh at me. If it wasnt for the fact they had my passport i wouldve torn up this place.
