Queued for 15 mins to get money bags only to be told they don’t give them out . What a useless post office .
Located inside Thatcher’s Pet & Tackle shop, I found the staff were friendly and good humoured. They dealt with my Amazon returns very quickly. Wi-Fi reception isn’t great inside so you may want to get the QR codes ready outside before entering
Some of the staff are really lovely. Management are sour, to the point they appear to be going out of their way to make your life difficult. Often greeted with a disappointed 'huffff'. The unspoken words are "Ohhh, another customer, right then WHAT DO YOU WANT?" It's very much like a comedy sketch. Thankfully for them, there is no competition.
From beginning to end I was huffed and puffed at. A certificate of proof of postage was shoved back at me as I was told that 'no, we don't do that here.' Why then had it been provided by the Royal Mail online to be stamped at my local Post Office? On requesting for it to be stamped again the cashier went to the arduous task of creating a receipt - which I already had. A receipt is not proof of posting as it didn't have the address on it, unlike the certificate. After again asking for a stamp in the space on the certificate for a stamp, the certificate was snatched from me in a huff, and finally quickly stamped, then shoved back at me. To make matters worse it was only half stamped in her petty rage so hasn't really done the job anyway. I use the Post Office regularly for personal and business reasons and am utterly disgusted with the rude 'service' I received. Unbelievable.
Inadequately staffed unfortunately so the wait is long.
