Really love this small cosy Italian restaurant. The food is great. The Calzone looks bigger than it actually it. All the ingredients at the centre. The rest are just dough. But.. just as tasty. You'll enjoy this place more for its atmosphere.Food: 5/5
It's fantastic. Proper family Italian restaurant with brilliant pizzas and warm, friendly service. We've been going for over 20 years.
Lovely local Italian restaurant with very good food, nice easy to drink wines, and good service. We have more recently been doing take-aways due to a sick parent and our food is always fresh and hot when we pick it up. I prefer to eat at the restaurant as the atmosphere is relaxed and there are alot of families enjoying the meals. The portions are of the exact perfect size to not overeat too much and meaty mains served with lovely potato and broccoli sides. This is a solid neighborhood restaurant which we are so happy to support and enjoy dining at!
I'm telling you! I LOVE this place. The dishes tastes are heavenly and the atmosphere & staff are fantastic. I love to come back again for the evening socially with my friends/ family.Food: 5/5
Clearly a hidden gem in a nice Surbiton neighborhood. Pizza and pasta were great, so we're all the starters we ordered. As for the desserts simply added a final touch to remember.Food: 4/5
Quality of food was great, unfortunately our calamari wasn't as crispy as I would've liked, but the pasta and pizza was excellent. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the value for money, I felt it was slightly overpriced for what it was, but still a great meal.
Really lovely genuine Italian, family run feel to the the restaurant. Not terribly large but seems to be well laid out so I can't imagine it would feel any more cramped than any other restaurant when it's full. We went on a Tuesday night in the middle of a summer heatwave but it still ended up fairly busy and seemed to have a fair few know-them-by-name regulars, which is always a good sign for any establishment. The service was fantastic and all of the staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there. Complementary nibbles were brought out to start, which were some kind of open textured bread with olive oil and herbs, which were enjoyed by the people who tried them. We skipped starters and between us had two pizzas, one pasta, and one meat dish for mains. The pizza eaters were really impressed, the meat dish was veal with a cream and mushroom sauce which was described as delicious, with perfectly cooked vegetables, and my spaghetti carbonara was absolutely gorgeous. They had no problem at all accommodating small alterations to dishes or checking ingredients and everything came out exactly as ordered. For pudding we had between us two different sorbet desserts which were lovely and refreshing though we were so hot and full we couldn't even finish them and 'torta della Nonna' which was described as a light, slightly nutty tart that was perfect to finish with. We had all only had soft drinks in the end and one of us didn't have any dessert, but even so it was less than £20 per head and for the quality of both food and service we all felt it was worth much more. All in all we had a wonderful evening and we will most definitely be going back again and again, and telling everyone else to do the same!
Fantastic food and a fantastic and friendly service. I'm looking forward to my next visit to this lovely restaurant. P.S I highly recommend the Tiramisu. It's the best I have ever tasted :-
Excellent food, great atmosphere, super friendly staff. It’s not the first time here and never been disappointed trying various dishes from the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Avoid. Quality of food is low, it's not really Italian. Service was incredibly slow. Waited almost 15 mins for drinks, 20 mins then for started, another 30 for mains. Seafood was not fresh and overcooked. Pastas are more like soups. Can't say anything positive really.
