Good service in short interval times.
It was I'm the process if being revamped when I was there. They had a temporary ramp and boarding platform but there aren't any facilities. The staff were efficient and helpful.
Tickets are easy to get from the machine, and you can pay by card as well. Ferry comes every ~15 minutes, and the trip itself is short, ~5 minutes or so. Nicest view of the Spinnaker tower you can get.nAn open-return ticket between Portsmouth and Gosport costed me 3.60 quid.
I went early in the morning. There was mist over the water and the sun reflecting gently on it. Gorgeous!! The ferry is frequent and just a few minutes from mainland.
Inside the train station. Is disability friendly and wheel chair accessible. Tickers can be Voight in advance or at the ticket desk. There is also a coffee shop, a Costa, that sells teas, coffees amd light snacks.
