Love Portishead, there is quite a bit you can do here. You can walk around the lovely marina, you can see swans, go crab fishing and nearer the summer, you can see jellyfish in the marina. Lots of really nice dog friendly pubs and cafes, lots of shops and walks you can go on. Nice views on a clear day
We came to Portishead with my BF for a day trip, the weather was amazing so we got very lucky, we went for a lovely walk around Portishead marina and it was so nice and relaxing, very calming vibes. They have plenty shops, pubs and restaurants around. It’s one of the places I would always like to come back. If you want to escape busy city rush this is perfect place to come for a walk and relax.

One of the highlights was watching the impressive gate lock open and close, allowing boats to enter and exit the sea. For a delicious breakfast stop, Aqua Caffe hit the spot.nnBeyond the marina itself, the area offers a real sense of community. Sainsbury's, Lidl, Home Bargains, and Waitrose are all within walking distance, making it a very convenient place to live.
Fabulous.nGreat room, comfy bed, very clean, tea/coffee/biscuits topped up daily.nBrilliant breakfast, cooked fresh and loads of choice.nStaff very pleasant and friendly.nGood location less than 5 minutes walk to the marina and about 30 minutes into the town centre.
Beautiful place to visit. On a hot summers day, having a drink outside one of the local bars/restaurants, it feels like you could be in Majorca. Nice and chilled with not a care in the world
