massive beach, with lovely clean crystal clear water. nice little food hut in the carpark serving Cornwall classic Hedge Hog Ice Cream but our favourite is the Fox Ice Cream ice cream rolled in clotted cream then dipped in flapjack..
We stayed in town for four nights. Going to the beach after dinner was a thing we did daily. Just a short walk away from our BnB and restaurants. It's a very lively place this beach. All kind of folks of all ages. Just enjoying the sun, the views, the water. Everybody seemed to be in a good mood. It is a fantastic spot, this beach. And watching the sunset is just amazing, doesn't matter how often you've seen it. I love sunsets. When the sun is down it can get quite cool though - even in summer. It's a very clean beach as well and pretty wide. There's enough space for everybody. For BBQ, to play, to relax, to walk your dogs. The water itself is pretty cold and depending on the winds pretty rough. But we didn't plan on swimming anyways. It's just a beautiful place. To get even better views you can walk up the small trail on the eastern side of the beach. The beach is dog-friendly in the evenings all year! That was a pleasant suprise. Our Bulldog loved it - at least as much as we did. The Blue Bar just at this beach is probably your best bet for dinner in town. We enjoyed it. There is parking at the beach, it's a pretty big lot, but was full on the weekend. A really great beach in a lovely small town. We loved it.
Intermediate walk along the cliff tops to chapel porth beach & back… stunning views and trip down the cliffs steps into the tidal pool not to be missed. Ice cream and coffee from Moomaid Cafe was a treat too
The beach it’s self is lovely, parking is an absolute nightmare. Half of the people on the beach including myself ended up with tickets at there was simply no parking! Small car park. Makes it very hard with small children and bags
I will never ever, ever, ever, not love this beach. My absolute favourite spot in the UK regardless of the time of year. Pictures don’t do it justice. A beautiful place.
Awesome dog friendly beach lots of rocks to climb on and a nice restaurant to enjoy some grub after!
Beautiful beach.Well maintained. Lots of space.great walk around headland depending on the tide.Carpark close by but not very big.£6.50 for 24hrs.Card machine didn't work,so cash only. Some nice shops and pubs very close to the beach.Catch the sunsets they were fantastic
such a beautiful beach, it is 100% so worth seeing, dog friendly and has a cafe and parking. the car park can be quite a struggle to use, machines dont always work
A lovely sandy beach with plenty of food and drink facilities nearby. Parking isn't normally a problem as there is a big car park next to the beach. A great place to surf too whether you're are a beginner or advanced. Was fortunate to photograph some very talented surfers there.
Lovely expansive sandy beach which stretches across the coast. Plenty of space for walking. Really stunning views. At times you forget you’re in the England.
