This is only a small museum but it's packed with alot of exhibits and information, with things to keep the kids entertained.

It's a quaint museum that tells the story of the ships used to move slate from Porthmadog. Accessibility - easy enough to walk round. For wheelchair users, there's a small step at the entrance, but on request they do have another entrance if required. The museum is very snug and some users may find it a challenge to get around.

Stumbled across this small museum whilst walking around the harbour. Worth a look , but it doesn't state anywhere you have to pay to go in. .

Great little museum to visit if you are in the area. Very informative. Supporting local when visiting is always a must.

Great little museum with friendly staff to greet you. A bargain too, well worth the small entrance fee. Very interesting exhibits telling the story of Porthmadog. Welcomed the dog too, which was great.

The high-light of our day!   A very small but perfectly formed museum with enough to keep me interested for about an hour.  The man at the front counter was interesting ask him about the model winch on his desk! and the models, video, slates, u-boat information all link nicely to interesting stories.

Lovely museum run by volunteers, all about the history of the harbour . We were made to feel very welcome, extremely knowledgeable guide. Well worth a visit.

My lad loves this place for the history nice day out.

Much better than anticipated. Learned a lot about how Porthmadog came to be the place it is. Must have been a very rich town in its day.
