Very poor work ethic, attitude and empathy amongst staff generally. Sorely lacking in understanding on any mental health conditions, and receptionists have a penchant for hanging up on patients if they feel like it.
Horrific consultation with Dr Mathew. Not a single hint of sympathy for what we thought was a cancer scare. The whole consultation carried on with Dr Mathew being extremely rude and making us feel like we were completely wasting her time. To top it off she slammed the door on us as we were leaving. Later claimed it was the "breeze" which took the door on an amazingly still day. Surgery even attempted to turn the finger as a reply to our complaint. AVOID.
I had two bad experiences at Port View Surgery. The first time I asked questions about how to proceed with a certain test and a member of staff answered she "did not have any idea" and walked away. The second time I had found a lump and scheduled an appointment. Dr Mathew called me asking a few questions and said she was very busy, but "she would check it" in a rude way. In the appointment, she was stressed and rude, told me there was no lump at all and made me feel like I was wasting her time. Even though she made me feel very stupid, I said thank you and the door was slammed behind me.
I want to thank Port View Surgery for their good service, especially Dr P Webster-Harrison and Dr Sissons for promptly referring me for blood tests and Derriford Hospital for tests. I also think the reception staff who are helpful and friendly.
Brilliant surgery with great staff, that go above and beyond. Doctor Harrison is an amazing doctor and very easy to talk to!
Difficult to review a GP practise - when I joined there were a couple of issues with my prescription but they were quickly resolved. Found them to be very friendly, professional and helpful.

The best Surgery you can have.never had a problem with them .Dr Harrison and Dr Charlton always sort you out brilliant all staff are excellent x
