We definatly don't have a cafe, some great places to eat in and around the village thoughWe love what we do… Plants, Gardening, Home, Outdoor Living and Christmas. We are cash free with card and contactless payments, allowing us to offer very reasonable prices across the store. Called here today to see what garden pots were in stock, so pleased we did! Purchased 2 lovely glazed pots, half price. Originally looking for one blue one but hubby treated me to two! & a few more plants. Staff are lovely here, will recommend to my friends.
This shop deserves 5+.. lovely place, shop assistants are helpful, friendly, and the most important: they care about the customers! From front door to the exit the whole store is ORGANISED, spotless, vibrant and CHEAP - compared with other big retailers. Even the other customers are calm, no rush, kind and friendly. From fishing, pet goods, gardening everything is in one place. See my photos. Highly recommended this place for anyone who wants to shop in a great place.
My wife is a knowledgeable gardener and loves this place and will quite happily spend an afternoon wondering around. It's in Port Sunlight which a very nice area where you can also go for a walk around the gardens. It's unusual that the restaurant has shut down as it was a nice place for a cup of tea.
I wanted a tree or plant for my birthday something that will last and special to me. We went to Port Sunlight as we've always had beautiful plants from here before. I saw the tree above a Magnolia Susan and found a member of staff who helped us in making the right decision for our very sunny garden. I took the opportunity to ask about a few rhododendron plants I'd bought the year before. She was very knowledgeable and helped me with my very slow growing plants. I had the tree delivered as I couldn't fit it into my car. The process was very easy and reasonable. The young man who delivered the tree was a star, placing the tree right next to were it was going to be planted. The tree is now in the ground and is doing ever so well. I get great pleasure from seeing Susan in my garden and can't thank the staff here enough for their professional and friendly service
Lovely garden centre, with something for all tastes, set in the gorgeous village of Port Sunlight. Not only plants, but furniture and garden sundries, and a nice cafe. Some items may seem pricey, but definitely bargains to be had.
If you are in Port Sunlight then make a trip to the garden centre. It is lovely and really well stocked with lots of gift ideas. Plenty of parking available. They have started to get in the Christmas stock. Could have spent all day here and done my Christmas shopping but we were too hungry so had to go to find subsistence elsewhere...Thought there would be a cafe there but this seems to have closed. There are toilets there.. Nearby eateries are the Bridge Inn and the tea room opposite station and restaurant in the museum...
Great parking, products and plants. Good variety and prices are not over the top. Such a shame the cafe closed but appreciate that it was a decision that had to be made. Hope this changes in the future.
We only called in to get a coffee but the cafe closed years ago apparently so we ended up buying some plants instead! Excellent choices & very reasonably priced for a garden centre Would definitely visit again.
Don't know how long ago this happened, there's no cafe, it's gone, gutted, I know it's a well stocked, garden centre & home decor centre, cafe use to be the highlight of our trips there, stock up on our gardening needs, spend a bit extra on home furnishings, then have something g to eat & drink, cafe was busy little place, was when we were there anyway, probably a good support for the local community too, never mind, probably blame covid. Still a well stocked garden centre, better than a visit to B&Q.
Great little garden centre in a lovely and well maintained area. Bit pricey but some good bargains found at this time of year. I got a new apple tree for around £26 and other useful bits. Worth a visit.
