sadly rip off Britain is very much alive and thriving in Wells very expensive to park !!! Holkham Hall seems to have the major foothold for car parking charges as they own everything in site of the Hall and some , Wells next the sea is a very charming small Norfolk town but sadly are pricing out the locals in preference for a rip of Britain holiday maker culture ........... while people just pay and get ripped off , rip of culture will keep putting up the charges it would only take a few wks of no visitors to the car parks and town for prices to return to normal ....... just say no more !!!

Me and the wife love Wells we park up have a lovely walk to the beach just an all round chilled day out and to finish it of with fish and chips and maybe a sunset on the beach

Very nice view to sea only Expensive car parkbecause to walk there you don't need all day,by this reason better to come after 18.00pm cost till 00.00pm -£1

The payment machine would not recognise our registration number so we were unable to pay the 5 pound charge to exit. I pressed the I button several times but no one answered. I rang the harbour office but it went through to call minder.nThe ticket machine guidance is unhelpful however a kind local person guided me through the manual steps to validate your number and make the payment. I kept the receipt so if the owners try to pursue a fine they can see me in court. There are better places to park nearby.
