Courteous staff , friendly owner and excellent food. Made room for the pram. Had an open fire, decent music not cheesy radio. Just what we needed. I'll definitely be returning
First time and we Will definitely be back again, I had the club sandwich, salad and fries and my wife had the jacket with tuna salad. 10/10 for taste and presentation and last but not least customer service.
We always eat at Poppies when we visit Ulverston. Lovely meals, great quality and fairly priced. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect breakfast poked with local lakeland prodyce. Good safe service and very lovely staff.
Breakfast was amazing!! It included a very tasty potatoe Rosti.
Lovely small Cafe for a high quality cooked breakfast. They only have a few tables so be sure to be there at 10am if you don't want to wait. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but they do food in the evening as well.
Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time, I had the veggie breakfast which was perfectly seasoned, a pot of tea and my little girl had jam and toast, it was all beautiful including the biscuits with the tea
