I went with my brother in his plane, it was my first time on this airfield and loved it. Would definitely recommend it! Its a shame due to lockdown we had limitations and cafe was shut but still had fun. Plus point weather was lovely too... so guys if you love flying then popham airfield is definitely a good recommendation.
Lovely spot to fly in and out during daylight when we are all allowed to do so again my friend David Chambers is teaching instrument classes by zoom with simulators.
Great place to hang out especially if you like aircraft. Good to cafe with food cooked to order and friendly staff.
Fantastic new CL. Very friendly welcome, ultra clean facilities and an added bonus is being able to watch light aircraft taking off and landing. Would heartily recommend
