Food was exceptional. As was the service. Staff was polite helpfully. Hard working. And kept on top of cleaning tables. Will be going back for sure. Kids welcome till closing. Also do bingo and live singers etc.
Decent food and prices, great range of gins, friendly staff. Nice decor for a holiday local, lovely outside when the sun is shining. Dog friendly.Food: 4/5

Wonderful find. Food was excellent. Very warm, friendly welcome from young lady. She was working in the bar, taking orders, serving meals and clearing up. She was calm and efficient. Well done too to the Chef. 22nd May, 2023. 15H00.
Lovely little place, went at the bank holiday weekend. It was packed outside and indoors, comfortable seating. Serving food and drinks. I only had chips but you got a good portion
Kitchen closed at 5 - do people not eat food at 5 on a Sunday???? What's the point in having a kitchen if it's not open at a normal time when most people want to eat! Only 1 vegan option... don't see the point in there being a vegan code on the menu for only one choice you can make. Poor choice of draught lagers can't stand Carling... but will give credit to the Staropramen Czech beer which was a nice beer for a change. Very smart interior design - but no point if customers can't actually sit and eat anything. Not a proper coffee machine…... Hot sunny day, people off beach, want to have food.. no food at 5? Can’t get my head around it. kitchen closed. pointless Popas pub! Vegetarian options: Barren. Token vegan chilli option.
The food that we were served was good but very disappointed that they were unable to provide gluten free chips for my 4 year old son, which was advised on the menu. We found the music far too loud, making it difficult to follow a conversation. Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately, we were significantly let down when I requested gluten free chips for my 4 year old son. Although they were advertised on the menu we were told that they did not have a clean frier and were unable to provide gluten free chips. My son has 10 food allergies so trying to feed him when out and about is very difficult, but gluten free chips are a safe bet. Very disappointing.
Firstly the chips were lovely. We had lasagne and chips and a mixed grill, plus 2 drinks £40+ Lasagne tasted old and was microwaved as the inside was still cold. The mixed grill consisted of chicken strips, a piece of steak, scampi a burnt sausage and a fried egg, this is not a mixed grill Have been here before but would not go back.
This is a lovely bar, dog friendly, nice polite staff, well decorated and very clean. It has a nice seating area out on the front. The food menu is not large but you can always find something that you can have. My only little glitch is only a limited selection of draft lagers and the last couple of times I have had the Fish and chips and they were quite greasy apart from that everything is good.
