Dave came out to us at the services within 15 minutes and was very friendly and helpful. He then sent his colleague who arrived in good time who recovered my car, and drove me back to Leicester - also very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend any more!

Shines like a beacon!  Got stuck in mud off road at a fishing venue in Cheshire on a bank holiday. Telephoned several recovery garages who either did not have the right equipment or were simply unable to assist,.........maybe because it was a bank holiday. Contacted Pooles Recovery who immediately dispatched David with the correctly equipped vehicle to do the job. Very impressed with David, very pleasant person, and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Also great communication and professionalism from telephone call taker at Pooles with regular updates. Please extend my upmost thanks. You are an absolute credit to Pooles. David, you shone like a beacon in getting us out of that very sticky mess today! I would have no hesitation in recommending Pooles Recovery.....they were our saviours!

This company is disgusting. Their driver reversed into me causing 3k damage to my car. No one called me I had to chase - the Owner said he was going to sack the driver as he was a clown.  although I have to say the driver was much more pleasant than the owner owner is rude and arrogant. Told me my car wasn’t worth anything so it didn’t matter  perhaps not to him but it gets me to work and my children to school offered me a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Not that I’d likely even get that from this guy. 3 panels were damaged and the wing mirror hanging off. He hasn’t given me insurance details or returned calls.  This company is one to stay well clear of.

Got picked up tonight after a breakdown and I cannot rate the staff member high enough. Apologies for not getting his name but he was super friendly and caring, which is just what I needed at the time. Thank you so much, Judy broken down VW, Sandbach

Terrible experience with this car recovery service. The driver lied to me, making me wait for three hours, only to later claim there were no available drivers, despite confirming the price and my agreement. Unreliable and dishonest – would not recommend."

Our daughter was driving with her friend and 2 children and her lights all of a sudden went off. As they were waiting in a lay-by  with hazards on, and were told they would have a 3 hour wait by the RAC, a kind man from Pooles recovery stopped to give them some advice. We are definitely thinking of leaving the AA and our daughter is thinking of moving to Pooles recovery as long as they can meet our requirements.  Thank you very much to the kind recovery man, all the best for Christmas  and keep up the good work, this country needs more people like you.

Excellent service, recovered us from the depths of the Peak District on a Saturday night and arrived really quickly in just over an hour. Daryl was really professional and did a fantastic job.

Dave came along and saved the day! My van looked to be completely gubbed due to water intake. I thought I would be stranded far from home but Dave had other ideas. Not all hero’s wear capes!!!!
