A small animal hospital with 24 hour nursing care and emergency service.
Consultations are available at Lichfield (01543 262464):
8.30am - 7.00pm Monday - Friday
9.00am - 5.00pm Saturday
A modern, purpose-built premises with excellent facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy and rhinoscopy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and an in-house laboratory. Visit our website to find out more.

Top care for my cat Alphonse who got unwell suddenly. Extremely thorough and informative vets, and super efficient and friendly reception staff. Thank you. Here's a photo of Alphonse feeling much better after his visit and some medicine. :

Our dog Molly was taken seriously ill over the bank holiday weekend.  The team got her seen the same evening and she was given the best care imaginable. Without these guys sadly we would have lost our beloved pooch. Thanks to pool house she’s now as good as new!  We can not thank them enough, every experience we have had with them has been amazing.  We honestly can’t recommend them enough, it’s reassuring to know that there are still good people in the world.  Big thank you to the whole pool house team!

Receptionists are great, they make you feel welcomed and take your details straight away. Waiting area is nice and clean. The vets really do make you and your pet feel very welcomed and talk you through your pets query. Would highly recommend :

I cannot fault the service received at Pool House. The staff are great to both me and my dog. I've been impressed by their level of knowledge and their compassion - vets at the practice avoid surgery unless it's absolutely necessary meaning that my dog doesn't get put through unnecessary discomfort. I'm really happy that our dog is registered here knowing that there is expert advice and they are always open should I need them in an emergency.

Excellent reception staff were amazing and so friendly and the vet was also amazing and was very reassuring and gave me all the options I also think pool house is amazing as it’s also an Emercency vets which I’d used previously with other pets but as my new puppies are with pool house vets in the first place if I ever need them in an Emercency they already have all there history right there in front of them which has got to be better

Excellent.  Had an appointment for the next day but my dog took unwell on a walk the night before.  Called in and the vet saw to him for which I was very grateful.  Lovely receptionist lovely vet.

My extended family and I have been taking our animals to PHV for over 20 years. They have fantastic facilities, friendly and helpful vets nurses and staff. They have gone above and beyond to maintain the health of or animals when well, cure and ease the suffering when unwell and give a dignified anc compassionate ending when it has been time to say goodbye. We have used just about every service over the years and have always been treated with respect and care. They all do really care about the animals and show a real interest. Couldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else, because we want the best for them. Thankyou Pool House Vets for all the love and care you show to all our families animals x Lorraine

Our experience of Pool House are all positive,  from the welcome to the vets themselves, all very kind, knowledgeable and efficient.  Both the hospital and Burntwood surgery are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at ease at a stressful time.

My older dog wasn’t well at all; k9 dementia and was swelling up and in severe pain. They were outstanding, the reception were fantastic. The vet even better. I went there as an emergency. And it’s a 5 star from me. Caring and considerate. The nurse was amazing for the triage.
