First visit for servicing an old Honda CRV. Used the ‘12’ service. Happy with the service and lovely friendly reception staff
I wouldn't buy another car from this place. This is a late review but must be shared. I purchased a civic with manufacturers warranty and the salesman Steve at the time promised me 4 years service plan, 4 years service and breakdown recovery. At the end of the manufacture warranty I was told by honda I had no warranty remaining when I was expecting another 2 years so it fell in line with the service plan remaining on the car untill 2025. At this point as nothing was getting done by ponthir I ended up trading the car at Bristol honda and taking another car out with warranty. I spoke to ponthir management mike and no result after several phone calls saying they would have to speak to the salesman who dealt with me. This deal lost me a lot of money as I only had the car for 2 years. Terrible after sales and the fact they never added the warranty onto the system is a bit of a joke. Won't go there again and won't recommend to anyone. Just read the reviews wish I did.
Collected our New Dacia Sandero Stepway from Ponthir last week. Great experience as usual. Top experience all the way through, from ordering, collecting, and driving away. Tom was great and very accommodating. 4th one now. Great value for money.
Just wanted to leave a review to say what a great service Kyle provided me today. Very professional, fair, polite and super quick. Such a nice person to deal with. I can’t comment on the dealership as a a whole but Kyle is an asset to this company. Awesome service, very kind person. Thank you very Lyle! You deserve a raise.
Very poor service, or should I say lack of. Took my Honda Civic in about 6months ago for a service and MOT. Last month, I took my car into Honda Cardiff as there was a couple of issues with sensors etc. Cardiff Honda were brilliant. However, they informed me that whoever had undertaken the service and MOT last had not done a good job. All the break discs had to be replaced as they were past their best, a full oil change had to be carried out as the oil was also passed its best before date, not to mention the air inflation tyre unit had expired and should have been replaced months before. The tyres really also should have been replaced at the last service, and the windscreen wiper jets had to be replaced as they were faulty. All of these should have been picked up and addressed, yet they weren’t. Add to this the fact that on the previous service from Honda Ponthir they had forgotten to put the oil cap on the engine. Moral of the story? Always go to a certified Honda garage.
