Terrible place. Be prepared to stand a while in a que !! The lady who walks round like she’s security while a till is empty and thirty people waiting to be served. I have a disability and had to stand 25 mins with pins in my legs. No seating for disabled or elderly. I had to leave as I couldn’t stand any longer. It’s the worst post office I’ve ever been in. No consideration for customers and chat to people instead of doing there job and getting que down .AVOID IF YOU CAN !!
Lovely service and really impressed… I think the lady was called Beth…sorry if it’s not your name but your customer service is amazing.. thank you
All the time the staff is friendly and lovely people.
The grumpy old dinner witch telling me I can't pay by card for gas and electric even though we were able to on Saturday when she wasn't there, shocking I know. She then decided to outright refuse the fact we have paid on Saturday via card whilst the small cuckold boy behind the counter who served us cowered in fear behind said dinner witch and failed to validate the facts. Complete joke as we then went to Tesco and paid via card as Tesco is currently part of the 21st century. This dinner witch's customer service is shocking and 'it' should be removed from her post and go back to scaring kids who don't eat their vegetables. With her face like thunder and one that only a mother could love, heaven forbid if we were in an emergency just my dinner break getting wasted by an incompetent oxygen thief.
Just like the rest of the town it is like a scene from Shaun of the Dead InbredZombieSmall village folk with backward mentality. However I don't think it is anywayBad as action cars the taxi rank that place smells of skunk Bob Marley owner probably hallucinating! Robbed at both places though ‍‍
A Dreadful service now. WHsmith limiting counter staff and opening times. I can only assume they have grabbed the Post Office franchise as last desperate attempt to be relevant on the High Street. This once great business has gone from a respected highstreet retailer to a retailer that Robs you at hospitals and airports. It would now seem the Post Office will be managed the same way, to suit WHSmith not customers. Please don't bother with the genetic "we are sorry to hear blah blah blah"
It's generally busy here, if you need just to send a package or letter, try not to go first thing as there is more than likely going to be a queue. Lunchtime and just before the end of the working day is also quite busy so try and squeeze inbetween those times and you will fly through hopefully. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I've never had a problem here.
WHSmith's have suffered from the loss of print media and have now becomeA little puppy company that Rob's you at hospitals train stations and airportsThe grumpy old woman likes to get into arguments and then the young guy acts like he's backing upOld woman in a Robbery and he stood behind 3-in sheet of glass
Just popped into the post office in Pontefract and today I was pleasantly surprised by the great service from Alan i think he may have been the manager and Jane behind the counter who managed to resolve my issue with ease and a minimum of fuss. Thank you guys
