I am currently on the online Music Production Masters Diploma and I am absolutely loving it. The course is clear and concise, and perfect for someone who already has the creative tools but lacks the technical knowledge. There's regular one-to-one tuition too, though you have to prepare for it in order to make the most of it (which I admit I don't always do). I thoroughly recommend it.

This was the biggest waste of $3,500 I have spent. First of all, they demonstrate how to mix and master music with elevator music. If you do not live in the UK, its very hard to make the 1 on 1 meetings unless you wanted to get up at 4:00am. You never will have time to make the "masterclasses" unless you live in the UK. I think your best bet if you want to learn how to make quality and fuller mixes, you should just pay the extra money and go to a hands on school like icon or dubstep spot. This program was a joke. They just want the money. If i could, i would ask for a refund. The program is about to be over and my mix/master do not sound any better.

I took the Music Production and Sound Engineering diploma at Point Blank and it was an incredible experience. I was lucky to land somewhere with such good electronic music credentials. I can’t speak highly enough of all the tutors, who had years of music industry experience and were inspiring as well as supportive. Also the tech staff who went to great lengths to help me out in the studio with my own projects. Like any experience you get out what you put in - and if you’re really driven to learn about electronic music production Point Blank pays back many times over - since leaving I have had a successful start in music thanks to their advice and encouragement.

It's just marketing and equipment. No musical quality. Had a terrible time at the singing courses. The teachers don't teach proper music and you leave the course the same way you started. The songwriting course is way too basic and you won't be able to write a song after completing the course. p.s. most students didn't play an instrument nor could they sing properly. So how would they write a song?

I studied the Radio Broadcasting Diploma in 2016 and it has helped me no end! Having no practical previous experience in radio beforehand, I was a bit apprehensive coming into the course, but that was soon eased by all my tutors. During my time there I learnt skills that I am very happy to say now use as a freelance producer at national, local, and online radio stations. The tutors were patient, dedicated and more than willing to help where needed, and often went above and beyond what I would have expected them to do. I have to admit there were some minor frustrations whilst studying there, most of which I'm sure were due to the format of the course having just changed, and the relocation to a new building which was not quite finished when we got there. Thanks to the tutors and staff at Point Blank, I was able to change careers and turn my hand to something that I truly love and am passionate about. They helped me learn all the necessary skills, and pushed me to go much further than I thought would have been possible in such a short space of time! I met loads of interesting people there in both my course and on others that I am still contact with, and some I see regularly and even work with. A great place to study!
