It's a nice and well maintained station. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. It's a 15 min walk from City Centre.nSigns and information boards are pretty clear.
The station is a dated in its design now, but for the most part it works fine. The coffee shop is now halfway decent if pricey and there’s the standard WH Smith for your snacks and supplies before you board.
Visited city centre shops, very run down & depressing. Majority of trees removed & placed is still one large building site. Many many boarded up shops & buildings, rest all dirty and not inviting.
Great for shopping. Has almost every shop you can think of set out on a grid like a step ladder, most of it pedestrianised. The bus stops are down the main street called Royal Parade and can take you to lots of places. Plenty of good restaurants and the theatre make it a good place for a night out.
