Nice mexical restaurant with Superb Tacos and Exceptional Beer and beer mixers. Very spacious able to accomodare big parties. The food is tasty and diferent, portions are average but Value for money. Decko is playfull and ventilation is good. Posisioned at the hart of the Coal Yeard development, it can provide an enjoyable night out in the Kings Cross are.
Delicious tacos! I’d been leery to try Mexican food in the UK, but this place did not disappoint. I was starving, hence the lack of pictures. I tried the Al pastor tacos and the street corn. Super spicy! Like, the perfect amount to make your nose tickle. The frozen mango margarita is PERFECT!! More smoothie than boozy margarita and that’s the way I like it. Great open air vibe. Highly recommend.
Super fun Mexican food and drinks. Prices are steep, but the service is great and it's very vibe-y. I would say drinks are the star of the show here. There is variety of mezcals and Mexican liqueurs to choose from. Pro tip - Reserve your table in the Plaza. Their outdoor setting is lovely.
Really pleased with this place! The prices were quite steep considering we didn't order much between us. The sauces in particular were disappointingly expensive as I would have loved to have had them all on the tacos already. However it is understandable considering its central location. We had a lovely outdoor table which I would recommend over inside as it can feel a bit cramped and busy. The staff were all really friendly but the menu felt quite limited. Perfect for a light dinner in King's Cross.
It was fantastic. We let our waitress fed us and she did a great job! The spicy margheritas were something else. 100% recommend.Food: 5/5
We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience even though initially I was a bit u sure when I read other reviews. It was one of the only spots in that area serving food after 9.30 pm. The mushroom and prawn tacos, and chicken tinga were all very delicious and we absolutely loved the vibe! The staff was friendly and attentive. The music and vibe were awesome! We also loved sampling the 5 salsas and the flavours were genuine!! Brought back our memories from the trip to Mexico! Enjoyed and will be back again.
Awesome restaurant, food and fun ambience. The Tacos and Platter in particular were delicious. Drinks - Mezcalitas and Spiced Avocado were both fantastic! Shame about the booking system and super frustrating, patchy table reservation however from a guest's experience. Most slots were taken early and we had a table of 7 planning to arrive around 6pm, however they'd only let us book for 3pax originally. When we arrived at 5:45pm the restaurant was basically empty. Which continued through until later in the evening when more tables progressively came in. Luckily my friend was able to come in much earlier in the day to sort out arrangements with the team to save the day. However, I hope that this is not a common occurrence for other guests and would recommend some tweaks and improvements to the system.
Really good. The guacamole was amongst the best I’ve ever tasted and came with a refillable bowl of nachos and pork scratchings. Personal favourites were the Baja and Prawn Tacos. I wasn’t a fan of the frozen margarita as it was a bit salty but the horchata more than made up for it. The standout of the meal was the corn cake dessert!
This is a nice place to have Mexican food. All food tastes great but unfortunately it is overpriced for the amount of food you get. Also the Margaritas are too expensive.
The staff was really good, especially considering the experience we had. Food is ok but what led to the 2* is the sharing plates - what you see on the picture is the size of a 1 person starter, and will cost you £28 as a sharing carnitas. I couldn’t believe it, mentioned it to the staff and saw they were embarrassed, because how not to… I know inflation and all that but this is just taking the p***. Also found very long hair in our tortillas and corn cake. You make your own opinion
