This is a very lovely outdoor space for families and friends. It's quite relaxing and fun to play the golf course. I would gladly recommend this place for team building activities and simple hangouts. There's free parking and you can get some snacks from the shop inside.
Wasn't busy when we went, cost £28 for a family of 4 ticket. We had a good 45 minute or so on the course. Holes are plenty exciting, there's dinosaurs and music playing on some holes. It's easy to navigate. We bumped into a gran and a grandad who were finding the lack of direction signs difficult. Follow the holes you'll be fine. There's a vending machine in the middle which was out of order and it's right next to the M60 so it's pretty loud. The course is very exposed so if it looks like rain make sure you take a coat! Loads of parking. Bit if a faff to get to from either the motorway or the B&Q side.
Brilliant facilities, friendly welcoming staff , excellent food and drink. The golf range has a number of activities on the screens that are fun for all. Can work on short or long game. The big factor is the staff on both the range and the store they are simply amazing and very friendly.
Been here a few times and it's the only range I've ever been to that doesn't allow you to book. Always a queue and have to wait upwards of an hour for a bay. Not really sure why they do this as always starts the experience off badly.
Staff are lovey! Is a well known place, so many people there having fun. Will definitely go back and definitely recommend
Had a very good time, was a very enjoyable experience and definitely recommend asking for the Upper Bay. Free Parking and Balls and Clubs at a good price.
Great facilities but poor customer service at main reception. The staff throughout the rest of the facilities were great, particularly at the pro shop which is stocked very well. The driving range is top notch. Good quality balls, matts and automatic tee system. Everything works as it should and seems to be fairly new which was great. Definitely justifies the price. I'd recommend avoiding busy periods to avoid long wait times. 3/5 stars. If the customer service is fixed up at the main reception it'd be an easy 5/5
Visited on a Sunday afternoon to the driving range and it was great. When we first arrived there was a short queue but to be expected during peak times. The staff at the desk were lovely and helped directing us and how to collect the golf balls. However a couple of the golf ball dispensing machines were out of order which meant we had to go to different areas of the building to collect the balls. They also promote that they have golf ball tracking which is useful when it works but sometimes it did not register which left us slightly annoyed. Overall we had a great time and are excited to go back.
Not for real golfers...it's a fun place for unsupervised kids playing the new craze of ping-pong meets ten pin where the players are further handicapped by golf clubs... The upper bays are not nearly wide enough to swing with release a three iron let alone a longer wood ...or perhaps it's designed as a sales strategy: players sever the club head on the bay bar, send it hurtling down the range, and pop downstairs to buy a replacement. Seems unlikely but what do I know, I couldn't imagine selling the concept of 80 hits of a golf ball with a short iron for £12. I also couldn't imagine liberally posting warnings of "customers use this facility at their own risk... &Tc, " and thinking that was my healthy & safety obligations box ticked and feeling exonerated from duty of care and that would be the extent of my responsibilities and liabilities. I can already see the courteous, considered, concerned reply from the management team.
I’ve been going to Matt Cross for golf lessons for the last 2 years and he has truly changed my golf game for the better. I have improved in all different areas of my game and I couldn’t be happier with the progress made. Top bloke, highly recommend!
