As always the staff was very friendly, the venue was great and the drinks were amazing. I have never been there when the pianist is there but I have heard some great things. Did not know that they do not open on Friday afternoon until 5, so that is something to bare in mind if you finish work early and want to go there for a drink.

Fantastic place, fun, lively, great staff and friendly customers. Drinks are reasonably priced.  I was happening to walk by when I heard lots of cheering and singing for Pride. Which is what made me walk in. It was so much fun and I am looking forward to seeing what they have planned for the next upcoming events.

Really nice chilled place to have a drink. You can play piano some nights and the quiz night is fun. The staff are lovely and really helped us with a cake for a birthday surprise.

Welcoming atmosphere. Good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Platform 12 also serve a selection of tea and coffee. A thriving music scene tops off the whole experience. Overall a very pleasant place to visit, whether you choose mid-week or weekend. A point to note. Platform 12 is a Wine Bar. So alcoholic drinks are a little expensive and as most places, there is a £5 minimum on card payments. Dogs are welcomed and tap water will be supplied should your furry friend wish to join you for a drink.

Location was good but minimum to pay with card is £5 and most drinks are conveniently priced just below this. They suggest you leave the remainder as tip which is fine for one drink but not multiple. I think in this day and age it's unacceptable that there is a minimum charge for cards. Either open a tab or buy multiple drinks.

Love a cheeky cocktail here - the espresso martini is really good. Always a good atmosphere on a Friday or Saturday. Had a quiz night mid week and coffee here to -lovely place. Good artwork!

6 of us called in for cocktails after a meal nearby. Pianist was indulging herself with a dramatic classic that was so loud we couldn't even chat. No sense of ambience at all. Nice place, good cocktails but no ambience.

We were just visiting the city for the weekend and luckily came across this bar, which became our favourite place to go before and after an evening meal. Lovely ambience, friendly staff and interesting patrons who made for good people watching! Highly recommended.

Cozy bar with a great live piano player. They let us bring our fish and chips from up the road. Have quiz nights with many teams. Fun atmospheres

Nice decor, small bar. The seating up the steps was cramped as so many chairs and I'll matched tables pushed together. I like the live music. Will be going again and taking other friends there
