Plateau

I visited this restaurant a few months ago. Great atmosphere but a shame there are so many meat items on the menu. Would like more vegan options

Lovely food and ambiance. Great range of vegetarian and meat based dishes. 6 drinks, 5 "small" generous plates and a cheese board came to under £40 per head.

Managed to snag a last minute reservation. Greeted by very cheerful staff who knew exactly when to appear and when to give you space Wine was fantastic and food to match. Quite low lit, giving a great, french atmosphere. Staff very attentive, we had a good spot in the window to watch the world pass by. Very cosy!

The best wine in town! I don't say that lightly either as I've tried all the wine bars. If you're into wine and want to try natural, organic or biodynamic wines this is a must! Also, the food is brilliant and fresh. You must book at weekends!

Great cocktails and loved the orange wine. The food is small plates, we hadn’t planned to eat but the menu looked so good that we did. Also - you only get a table for 1 hour if just drinks, 1.5 with food. Staff very attentive, we had a good spot in the window to watch the world pass by. Very cosy!

Plateau is a lovely little wine bar. They serve predominately natural wine, but also have a variety of other options from beer & cider to a selection of cocktails. They also offer small plates of food. Service was excellent. Will definitely visit again!
