Lovely old house with black and white exterior decoration. Although it is close to the centre of Llangollen it feels remote with a beautiful short walk through woods along the edge of a stream. There is a lovely cafe serving refreshments Covid safe on the lawn. Well worth a visit!
This is a great addition to any visit to Llangollen. The house's gardens are lovely, and the cafe is ace everything's home made and fresh. I've never actually entered the house as I haven't felt the need. The cafe closes for winter at the end of October, not sure when it opens again.
What an amazing location. A friend and I popped to the tea rooms for a bite to eat. I cannot recommend it enough. Fresh food, amazing views and served by a truly kind and polite gentleman. Just lovely
Fabulous place to visit. Stunning house with intricate carvings & great exhibition about the ladies of Llangollen- fascinating story. Really helpful guides at entrance to house. Tickets at tea shop £6 the gardens free. Stunning woodland walk with cute bridges,bower, summer house Georgian flower borders and topiary
A beautiful house...and the entry fee is very cheap. We were greatly impressed. If you go, do manage the extra for a recorded tour guide. There is a wealth of really good information on it. The whole place just exceeded expectations. There is also a nice little cafe where we had a tasty Welsh rarebit. Lovely!!
This place continues to enthrall me. I just love the quaint house & the woodland walk which our granddaughters are convinced is a fairy dwelling. Restaurant serves decent coffee & eats.

Absolutely stunning. The house is a work of art and the forest is so tranquil. Lovely tea garden too. So worth a visit.
House closed at the moment due to corona virus but gardens and cafe open. Excellent soups and toasted snacks and good variety of cakes. Beautiful views of Dinas Bran Castle.
