Initially I was happy with everything even if it was a bit pricey but as they were the only people in town who could do the job I needed. The quote beforehand was £80 all in and I agreed on that. When I went to collect the bike. He charged me £90 which I did not appreciate but paid anyway. I took my bike home to find how much of a sloppy job has been done. Very unimpressed with a very amateur quality job.

PLANET VELO DISPOSED OF MY BIKE.Handed in bike for repairs and for them to contact me when done. No contact. After 6 weeks phoned shop. Bike not looked at. Would be ready in 2 weeks for uplift. Went to shop. Bike not looked at. Checked they had contact details. They confirmed they would contact me when ready. They hadnt contacted me til then. Left bike with them over year end. Still heard nothing. Went to shop to be told they had disposed of my and other bikes. No apology. and that They now had no details for me nor the bike, nor for any alleged contact they had made to me regards the bike, nothing.. On second visit to shop regarding bike, story of when and where bike was disposed had changed. I was offered bike from "through the back" .. someone else's ? . 2 letters to them, nothing back. Now heading for small claims. In all the what 40 years i have owned bikes and used bike shops i have not ever heard of such a thing before.

Friendly, honest service!! Met online price of items. Keep local bike shops going. First class service.
