Moved to the area about 2 years ago, recommend this place by 2 "locals" after the big chain pizza place took over 2 hours to deliver our last order. Pizza within 40 minutes we live over 3 miles away, polite delivery person, really good pizza. We're Pizza King converts.
We’ve finally found a pizza place that take care in the actual taste of the pizza base ingredients. Cheese and tomato combination is bordering on perfection. I just wish they had more ‘pre-made’ recipes that ‘ticked our boxes’. Nothing a custom order can’t resolve and we can’t possibly deduct a point for the pizza anyway.Recommended dishesPepperoni Pizza
Our Friday takeaway every week - number 56 - they always get our order spot on! And I’m a fussy fussy get! Super thin donner is amazing !! Piping hot - tasty and plenty - we have all out friends now on pizza king thank you xx
Food has always been great from here. The only negative thing is that we must end up as last on the list for delivery, as it's often quite cold by the time it arrives and yet when I've ordered to collect and get it back home, it's still hot.Food: 5/5
Recently visited here after been recommended by glossop travelodge employee.. food was absolutely outstanding top quality.. If i stay in the area again i will 1000% be giving them a visit. Highly recommend to anyone living or staying in the area you will not be disappointed.. Staff nice and friendly and prices were reasonable.
Just moved to the area and wasn't expecting much from this place but order was taken quickly, could see staff working hard to get everyone's deliveries ready, food itself was better quality than a lot of pizza places I've been to. Will definitely be back, great takeout.Food: 5/5
Mega as always, Our go to takeaway... there are lots of places we do get from in Glossop, but this is always 100.... always deliver top quality food... Try the meat calzone, but with Hotsauce, it's mega!!!
I usually need to travel to get a decent kebab but at long last I've found somewhere local :-. I've just ordered the mixed kebab and it was delicious! You can tell by the taste of the meat that it is quality and not cheap meat like many other places. You can even see the seasoning in the doner meat! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be a returning customer :-
Pizza King is really nice. But, I must stress. Don't have it delivered unless you're prepared to wait 1.5h approx for your food to be delivered. When speaking to the drivers, they have 4 drops everytime they go out, so your food may also arrive cold. To sum it up, if you're picking it up, fantastic, if not expect cold pizza.
Tonight was the first time having pizza King and I was impressed! Fast service and friendly staff. Hygiene and covid protection seemed very good! Food wasn't sickly or too greasy... definitely highly recommend
