One of our favourite local restaurants, you know what you’re getting with the food and we find it to have a great atmosphere. We often drive into the outlet just to visit Pizza Express. We’ve had I would guess 10+ visits and only had one poor service experience, which the manager handled brilliantly and we walked out liking the place even more! They were also great when we arranged two tables as my daughter wanted to take a friend their for her birthday, allowing us to sit nearby to keep an eye on them. We’ve taken a large family party here for Boxing Day lunch which was also handled as well as 4 diners. Big thumbs up!

Staff work hard to hold it together. There is no system in place. They should be given their own section so they know what's happening with the customers Food was terrible..and expensive. Ordered 3 types of pizza before they actually could provide one. They then got the order wrong This is poor management. The staff have no guidelines. So busy , loud , cafeteria style place.. We unfortunately had vouchers.. So just used them up.. . Never again 🙄

After thinking about where to eat that could cater for df, sf and ef we decided to try pizza express at junction 28 of M1. I called before hand to book a table and mention my allergies and the person on the phone took all the details. Wow, I have to say I was impressed. When I got there they seated us next to the kitchen so I could see the food. The allergen book was already on our table for us and the waiter went through the menu pointing out what is or could me made with our requirements. When he took our order he took time to get everything down and even read it all back to me The above was all repeated for the dessert. It was so nice to be able to go out and eat the same thing as my 3 yr old. Bravo to pizza express, I hope this is service nationwide - we shall be returning.

Ordered a margarita and got a tomoto mess with minimal cheese. Oh and significant areas of dry bread. Asked for it to be corrected and got the same pizza back with additional mozerella. Service was not good. Majority of the staff were sat at a table in he corner chatting. I can see why this place was empty. Expected more from the only real restaurant at MacArthur Glen designer outlet mall.
