Great place to use Tesco Club Card Vouchers! £59.00 bill was about £7.00 1x starter, 2x pizza, 1x desert and 2 Cokes. Prices are a little high otherwise. You don't always get exactly what the images show but it all tastes good Mushoom pizza had no garnish as pictured. Overall, decent!!Food: 4/5
Decided to get the bbq burnt ends and absolutely loved it! Great service from Sophie, plus she was was very attentive and a lovely host making our experience a pleasure. Will definitely be coming again!
Normally, I love pizza express, classy and not overly expensive. An enjoyable experience. However today? I wish I just walked out. My pizza was cold, and tasted uncooked, the floor was dirty, and the atmosphere was horrible. Loud noises as well as clattering and banging of staff dropping things. Unskilled to say the least. Without mentioning that it was packed to the max. Our waitress took out plates and drinks, then waiting close to 20 minutes before we got the bill. Don’t think I’ll be returning again after being made so uncomfortable after what should’ve been a nice date night out. Vegetarian options: A positive I could make is that being a vegetarian didn’t cause an issue, as there always is
Ours was a 10th birthday celebration at the restaurant made up of 13 excited girls. It was a wonderful experience of great food, drinks and atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful in making the night a success. Good job all!
Felt really disappointed by this Pizza Express and I've never had any issues at other Pizza Expresses before. Especially upsetting as it was our first date out for food in many months and it was my partners birthday. The food was really disappointing. Couldn't taste the garlic on the garlic bread. We had waited quite a while for our pizza, and were noticing other tables had received theirs already so we checked and it turned out they had lost our order. They quickly made our order but rushed it so it was only lukewarm, it was undercooked and it tasted absolutely awful. The atmosphere wasn't great. There was a member of staff complaining and kept saying that they 'can't do this anymore' and storming off. The only reason I give this 2 stars not 1 is cause the manager was nice and took our pizzas off the bill to apologise.
Food was lovely but took almost an hour just for the starters to arrive! A little difficult to get served. They did reduce a bill as compensation but it's the second time we've had a really long wait at this branch Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu good value and goes down well Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options which my daughter loves although on this visit they were out of gf dough balls - substituted the starter for gf garlic bread pizza but had to have ice cream for pudding as she'd had enough "pizza" by then.
Made a reservation for a Tuesday night. Not busy but still took an age for anyone to offer me a table. Was then sat for 25 minutes before deciding to leave. 2 groups came in after me and served. Wasn't even offered a drink. I'd give this place half a star if I could. Shame because I eat at Pizza Express regularly.Service: 1/5
The food is ok although the dough balls where cold still tasted good tho but the service was really poor I was rudely dismissed when I asked for the menu and we where served water but had no glasses I feel like the experience just lacked a nice welcoming face and decent service
Worst pizza express I’ve ever visited. Very poor and inattentive staff, low quality lacklustre food and chef treating a waiter like dirty in front of a packed restaurant on a Saturday night all combined to be a pretty dreadful experience at a branch of a restaurant I usually love. Won’t be returning.
Very disappointed - staff really seem to struggle here. Three pizzas dumped on the table before we'd all finished the starters and then had to call for the manager to get the fourth meal! Pity really because we like Pizza Express in general - won't be visiting this one again though. They shouldn't take the bookings if they can't cope with the customers.
