Amazing food… had a wait for our table but worth it… chef went extra mile to make something out of menu… this was our more than 10th visit but I will definitely coming again soon…!!! Worth the wait…!!!

Went there for dinner to meet friends. The venue unlike other PE sites has a ambience about it and on entering we were shown to our table by the manager. Great food and conversation followed. They could do with some extra staff but our waitress Elizabetha was wonderful noting down our requests and delivering them with a smile and grace. Really good evening.
We had a group of is 12 in total who visited Pizza Express in Stanmore. We were served by Samir and another young lady. They were excellent. Very patient with us as we placed our orders and remained attentive through the whole evening. The food tasted great and we had a very pleasant evening!
My 90 year old mother, myself and children decided to have Friday supper at Pizza Express. Despite having no reservation and a full restaurant Samir somehow found a free table. We had an excellent meal and great service - what a team! Thanks to all at PE for making our evening so special
The restaurant was very clean and the food was tasty. However, two of us chose a certain type of pizza and before ordering it we asked if it was hot, as we did not want it hot. We were assured that that pizza was mild. It was actually quite hot! Also, it was a little difficult to find a table for 8. Had to ask permission from the manager to join two smaller tables together. Permission was granted and the tables were nicely prepared for us, but I would have thought that perhaps restaurants ought to have suitable tables for larger groups. It's just a thought.
On Nov 1st, I placed online order via Deliveroo. Completely different order was sent to me. Since I live not too far, I went in there to return someone's order and collect mine. Absolutely no sorry or let me fix this attitude. I tried again to walk in yesterday with my kids at 5:05pm, there were more than 10 tables empty. The staff and manager stepped aside and had some private conversation and returned to tell me it is all booked and couldn't give us any table. Looks like they have no interest in running the place to good standards or they scan people and profile them out. Either way, pathetic and disgusting behaviour. Shame on you guys. You will see a robotic, copy and paste reply to this review telling it will be looked into but I don't think they care. Save your time, money and respect. Go elsewhere.
Usually visit Brent Cross branch due to ease of location, but due to no tables had to come to Stanmore. Normally Stanmore has slow service but today this was 10/10 service. We came specifically for off menu item of Bruschetta con fungi, but the chef had said no, but the members of staff and manager were able to authorise it and we got the items we wanted happy pregnant wife. All other food and service was exceptional and the staff were full of talk and jokes.
I was so disappointed that the starters weren’t as described on the menu, they were understaffed and the supervisor was so unprofessional and rude, too. I could have never imagined a Stanmore branch with such a poor service. I paid £30 but not happy at all. Only the pizza was nice and that was it. The starters were just a waste of my money too. A service well below average
We have been served by Samir, very friendly and helpful member of staff. Pizza was nice and full of flavour. Also the wine was good Recommended dishesPizza
