First eating out experience since March. Very friendly and welcoming staff, well instructed. Very respectful. Delicious pizza, nice atmosphere. Shame we were not allowed to sing happy birthday or blow the candles might be guidance but people still use “dangerously spitting” P and B when they talk.

Pizza Express in Lewes was a very nice stop during a weekend walking trip. The venue is very clean and tidy with friendly staff. Waiting time can be a bit longer due to the busy location of the restaurant but it's well worth the time.
Today we had our son’s 5th birthday party at Pizza Express in Lewes. From start to finish it was brilliant. The gentleman who looked after us and showed the kids how to prep their pizza was patient, friendly and fun. Food was great quality and I think a great price per head. Thank you Pizza Express Lewes!
Normally a reliable chain with good standards, my meal tonight was poor with incredibly slow service. Especially bad we were there with young children on a Tuesday when it wasn't that busy. Really put me off going again.
A lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, often experienced in menu choices. Reasonably priced, certainly if you get a voucher code. If you've eaten in one pizza express then you've pretty much experienced there food in any of there eateries.
Disabled friendly which is a must, although the disabled toilet is very close to tables so is a bit of a squeeze to get to. Otherwise decent pizza and obviously garlic bread is the star of the show!
Excellent service. The Lewes branch is a bit narrow - I know, a weird comment, but affects the feel of the place. Lasagne was good but very sweet. Good music.
Can't fault pizza express with a taste card! 2 for 1! Plus the majority of staff are very friendly.
